About Me

Hello, I’m Rebecca though most people call me Bex and I’m the heart behind Birth Doula Bex.

I’m a doula and hypnobirthing practitioner based in Farnham, Surrey, supporting families across Surrey and South London. I’m also a mum of two and it was my own birth experiences that truly shaped the way I support others today.

I birthed both of my children using hypnobirthing and those experiences were deeply empowering. They showed me just how transformative it can be to feel informed, supported and genuinely cared for during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Those births didn’t just change me as a mother they shaped my entire practice and continue to guide the way I work with every family I support.

I trained as a Hypnobirthing Practitioner with The Calm Birth School and as a Doula with The Original Birth Connection and I bring both professional training and lived experience into everything I do. My approach is calm, evidence-based and completely centred around you. There is no one “right” way to give birth my role is to help you feel confident in your choices, whatever they may be.

My clients are incredibly important to me. I work with a strong sense of commitment, reliability and care and I pride myself on my work ethic. When I support you, I do so wholeheartedly emotionally, practically and with complete respect for your journey. I aim to be a steady, reassuring presence you can truly rely on.

Postnatally, I’m known for my love of nourishing food. I’m a passionate cook and always bring nutritious, comforting meals to my postnatal clients, because I believe food is a powerful form of care especially during those tender early days.

Outside of doula work, I love yoga and running, both of which help me stay grounded, strong, and present qualities I bring into my work with families.

Above all, I believe everyone deserves to feel supported, heard and safe during one of the most important transitions of their life. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you, offering calm guidance, reassurance and wholehearted support every step of the way.
